At Art Basel 2022 in Miami, Lincoln Motors unveiled its newest concept car the Star EV. As a designer at Studio Butch, I had the pleasure of designing unique displays for this activation to celebrate Lincoln’s innovations and design concepts.

This enchanting car includes a unique olfactory feature that allows the driver to select personalized scent profiles as a part of the driving experience.

For this moment we created an elevated platform draped with linen curtains for the vehicle’s unveiling. A massive screen flanks the gazebo and tells the story of the Star during the week-long installation for guests at Art Basel. An outline of pure light surrounds the vehicle on its display, grounding it as the centerpiece and highlighting the unique curves and edges of the design.
